Ability Finance commenced finance broking in 2005 with an aim to provide the widest range of lender options we possibly could for our customers.

I searched the industry for a home loan comparison software package that would properly and accurately calculate the real costs of major lender home loans and compare the differences at the actual home loan size and loan to value ratio that our individual clients are seeking.

I believe we found this tool in the independently developed Active Client software.

Over the past few years we have been forced to drop certain lenders from our panel due to substandard service levels, attitude, and even one lender in particular for not actually paying us.

More recently several of the major banks have become uncompetitive with higher interest rate rises and addition of fees and charges and they have then placed minimum volume requirements on brokers. If brokers do not find a minimum amount of customers prepared to take out the more expensive home loans the broker loses their accreditation with the lender meaning the broker cannot submit new loans to that lender.

Ability Finance continued to support one of these lenders, even after they reduced the commission they paid brokers by half and decided to not pay brokers any trail for the first year of a customers loan. We only ceased sending this bank business after their interest rates and fees were increased, making them uncompetitive for the majority of our customers.

As a result we are now not accredited with 2 of the major lenders simply because we have been finding the best deal we possibly can for our customers. These lenders products are still in our software for comparative purposes so our clients can see the differences.

Using Ability Finance services will, in almost every case, cost you no more than dealing with the lender direct and we can save our customers a lot of time, running around, and stress.
